Butler Gallery, in the heart of Kilkenny City is one of the leading cultural attractions in the South East of Ireland. We are a free art gallery and museum which showcases modern and contemporary art through dynamic contemporary exhibitions and a diverse public engagement programme. Our historic venue features an extensive Permanent Collection of important Irish art. Supported by the Arts Council, we are dedicated to furthering the practice of living artists and nurturing creativity within society.
