James Walsh Auto Electrical Ltd was established in 1971 by the late James Walsh Senior. James started learning his trade as an Auto Electrician in Lanigan’s in the John’s Green area of the city in 1955.
He moved to the current premises of 25/26 Walkin Street Kilkenny in 1971 where he opened his Auto Electrical repair business.
Fast forward to the present day and this second generation business is owned and managed by the late James’ sons, John and Thomas. They both established these roles in the business after finishing school.
James Walsh Motor Parts Ltd is the only family run motor factors in Kilkenny. We have a very experienced and dedicated team some of whom has been with us for over 28 years!
