The South East Business & Innovation Centre (South East BIC), a public private partnership, supports the generation and development of new innovative startups and assists existing SMEs to innovate and expand. Operating as a not-for-profit and receiving funding form the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment, the BIC provides high-quality specialised business consultancy and active incubation supports to innovative startups, working in collaborating with other stakeholders in the South East such as Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices.
South East BIC is a member of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) and manages the South East Business Angel Network (SEBAN) providing connections between startups and investors. BIC supports entrepreneurs and startups throughout the counties of Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, and Tipperary and focuses largely on project evaluation and development, business modelling, planning and sourcing finance.
