Kilkenny Chamber was very pleased to welcome HE Mr Lahcen Mahraoui, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, and his Deputy Head of Mission Rachid Seghrouchni , to the Chamber office on Friday 12th January. The ambassador spent over an hour with the CEO, John Hurley, who said it was a very worthwhile meeting, where the long history of bilateral trade and commercial involvement between the two countries was discussed.

‘There are many opportunities for further growth and expansion,’ the Ambassador said, making reference to the ‘Advanced Status’ which Morocco now has with the EU, which can simplify greatly the conduct of business between both countries.

Also in attendance was Mr Michael Feehan, Retail Manager at Connolly’s Red Mills. In business since 1908, Connolly’s Red Mills are one of the most trusted global names within the areas of high performance animal feed, pet food and agri products.
