It’s official!  The Kilkenny Business Awards 2019 is underway, and we were delighted to launch them at the beautiful Rothe House & Garden on 4th September.  Cathal Smyth, Chief Operations Officer with our main sponsor State Street, and Julian Hughes from Hughes Farming (winner of the Agri Business of the Year AND the Overall Business of the Year in 2018) joined us to tell us what being involved with the Awards has meant to both their companies.

Julian Hughes said:  “Collecting one, let alone two awards, at the 2018 Kilkenny Business Awards was a huge milestone for our business. As an independent peer reviewed process, it gave all our staff and stakeholders in our company huge satisfaction in winning the ‘Agri Business of the Year’ and overall ‘Business of the Year’ award in 2018. I would encourage any local company to enter the process and put forth a nomination for the Kilkenny Business Awards 2019.”

Huge thanks are due, also, to Brian Kelly and the team at MindaClient who have devised our new Online Nomination and Application process for this year.  It’s so easy to nominate your own, or another, Kilkenny business and then to complete the application form, and you can do both here. You can find out more about the Business Awards there too.

Here are some photographs from the Launch Day.
